ADEN, Nov. 14 (Saba) – The Preparatory Committee on an international woman, sciences and development discussed on Saturday arrangements for the event which will take place next month in Yemen's commercial capital of Aden.

The conference will be held at the Aden University on 12-14 December and organized by the Woman Center for Researches and Training, an affiliate to the university.

During a meeting chaired by rector of the university Abdul Aziz Saleh Bin Habtoor, the committee said it had received 81 scientific researches including 28 from Arab and foreign scientists.

There were also 47 researches by the university and 6 from around Yemen.

The meeting dealt with the activities to be held during the three-day meeting which will include a scientific book fair and a plastic art show highlighting the role of women in art and culture.

An exhibition for handicrafts would be organized as well.
