SANA'A, Jan. 05 (Saba) - Deputy chief of the General People Congress party's bloc in the parliament Yasir al-Awadhi said that the election of a new parliament speaker to succeed of the late Sheikh Abdullah al-Ahmar is a untimely matter, the state-run almotamar.net said.

Al-Awadhi voiced the bloc would hold a meeting next February to discuss the issue of electing a new speaker and three deputies whom would end their mission next February according to the council's rules stipulating that every two years the presidency of the parliament must be named.
