SANA'A, Jan. 04 (Saba)- Around 101 European tourists visited historical sites in Mahweet governorate last week.

The European tourists visited historical castles, markets and mosques in the governorate, director of Tourism Office in the governorate Ali Bahjan said.

The tourists expressed admiration of old architectural style of Yemeni buildings, highlighting warm welcome and hospitality of the citizens of the governorate.

According to the office statistics, 34,000 tourists visited the governorate in 2007.
