SANA'A, Jan.02 (Saba)- Vice President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi attended Wednesday a ceremony held on the occasion of inaugurating the new training year for the military forces, 2008.

In the ceremony, Hadi expressed happiness and pleasure for his participation in inaugurating the training year 2008, conveying to attendants best wishes of President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the occasion of the new year and wished them success in all national duties.

He also conveyed heartfelt condolences over the death of Parliament Speaker Sheikh Abdullah bin Hussein al-Ahmar.

Hadi said that military forces and security have embodied great meanings of loyalty and desired national hopes in performing their duties and responsibilities and that military personnel have been an example of sacrifice for the interest of the homeland.

He concluded his speech by directing military forces to be aware of their national duty that requires more integration, carefulness and stable awakening to do their best in fields of training and qualifying as well as preserving public possessions.
