Yemen, Mauritania sign eight treaties

SANA'A, Dec. 03 (Saba)- At the conclusion of the 2nd round of the Yemeni- Mauritania Joint Ministerial Committee, Yemen and Mauritania signed on Monday eight cooperation treaties and the record of the round meeting held here.
The treaties, which are signed by Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr al-Qirbi and Mauritanian counterpart Mohammad Wild Mohammad al-Amin, deal with cooperation in the fields of oil, gas, minerals, environment, health, tourism , youth and sport, technical and vocational training, developing exports and exempting diplomatic,special and important passports holders from visas.
Al-Qirbi confirmed that meetings of the committee and the resulted treaties reflect concerns of the two countries in developing cooperation between the two friendly countries.
For his part, the Mauritanian minister expressed pleasure for signing cooperation treaties, saying that these treaties would make new station in the path of Yemeni-Mauritanian partnership.
The two ministers have reviewed during the round the bilateral ties and reforms in fields of economy and trade and boosting democratic approach.
