ABU DHABI, Dec. 02 (Saba)- Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah Bin Zayed said on Sunday that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s states realize that Yemen's joining to GCC would provide additional force to the council.

"The GCC's countries relations with Yemen are not restricted on regulatory ones but Yemen is a geographical extension to the gulf states and it has historical and social relations with the council's
states in addition we think that security of Yemen and the gulf are united together," said Abdullah.

Abdullah confirmed that the council started thinking in joining Yemen into some specialized organizations as a primary step for completing inclusion into the council, saying that the gradual joining of Yemen into the council does not reflect "any hesitation of the GCC".

Abdullah said that the participation of the Gulf states in the London donors conference held in London in November 2006 was a step for providing the developmental needs of Yemen.
