SANA'A, Dec. 02 (Saba)- Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Judge Isam al-Samawi discussed on Sunday with a French judicial delegation, headed by the director of the National Institute of Judiciary in France, over aspects of judicial cooperation between two countries.

Al-Samawi welcomed initiative of the French judiciary institute to help setting up independent administrative judiciary system in Yemen gradually.

He made clear that such step is hard in current time as the judicial system is working to improve its infrastructure and qualifying workers.

He affirmed concern of the SJC to benefit from experiences of others, expressing hope of getting support of donors and other international organizations to develop infrastructure of judiciary in the country.

The French delegation reviewed French judicial experience, expressing readiness to offer financial and technical assistance to develop judicial system in Yemen.
