SANA'A, Dec.02 (Saba)- The Republic of Yemen is to take part in the conference on Democracy and Human Rights in Africa (DHRA) which is organized by the Egyptian National Council for Human Rights in cooperation with UNESCO to be kicked off in Cairo on Monday.

Minister of Human Rights Huda al-Ban, the head of Yemeni participating delegation in the conference stated to Saba, upon departure, that the two-day conference would discuss a number of important topics, most important of which are democracy, elections, governance and role of national and human rights institutions in boosting democracy and development.

The minister pointed out that Yemen's experience in the field of democracy and human rights would be discussed in the conference.
