Japanese cultural week opened in Sana'a

SANA'A, Nov. 10 (Saba)- Culture Minister Mohammed al-Muflahi along with the Japanese ambassador Masakazu Toshikage to Yemen launched on Saturday the first cultural week of Japan in Sana'a.

The event is organized by the Japanese embassy in cooperation with the culture ministry as well as Japanese Agency for international cooperation and Yemeni-Japanese friendship association during 10-14 November.

In the opening ceremony, al-Muflahi delivered a speech in which he highlighted efforts exerted to organize this first important event to enlighten people on the Japanese culture, praising good level of
the relationship between Yemen and Japan.

Toshikage pointed out to the concern of Japan to deepen cultural cooperation with Yemen.

Toshikage said that the Japanese cultural week would include movies, cultural seminars and other activities.
