Yemen affirms support for Lebanon

BEIRUT, Nov. 10 (Saba)- Yemen's ambassador to Lebanon Faysal Amin Abu Ras has pointed out that Yemen supports Lebanon's independent, condemning threats targeting Lebanon's security, stability and unity.
During his meeting with the President of the Lebanese Journalists Syndicate (LJS) Melhem Karam, Abu Ras renewed Yemen's supportive stance for the Lebanese consensus to end the current crisis.
Abu Ras noted that the Lebanese crises would not cause consequences for Lebanon only, but to the whole region, expressing hope that the Lebanese people takes steps to preserve security, stability and prosperity in their country.
Abu Ras said that Yemen makes efforts to bridge the gap in viewpoints of the Lebanese factions to avoid the risk of slipping into the violence, particularly before holding the second session of the parliament to elect a new President of Lebanon.
