WHO regional director leaves Sana'a

SANA'A, Nov. 07 (Saba)- Regional Director of World Health Organization (WHO) for the Middle East Abul-Razzak al-Jazairi left Sana'a on Wednesday after participating in the meeting of directors of Anti-HIV/AIDS Departments in Middle East, held in recently in Sana'a.
In a statement to Saba, WHO official said that outcomes of the meeting focused on a number of recommendations to raise full awareness among the community on AIDS and activate mutual cooperation between the organization and countries to combat AIDS and reduce its medicines' price.
He pointed out that he discussed with a number of officials in the Yemeni government areas of cooperation with other countries and international donor organizations in the spheres of health and the importance of increasing foreign financial allocations for health services.
