SANA'A, (Saba)- The cabinet formed on Tuesday a committee on carrying out measures of protecting Zabeed city headed by culture minister.

The measures include banning new construction and act of destroying buildings in the city.

The cabinet also directed Ministry of Culture and Authority of Protecting Historical
Cities to gear up process of issuing law of architectural heritage in order to create a clear legal ground to meet requirements of protecting these cities.

The cabinet gave orders to launch a national campaign to remove all wastes and ban new constructions in the city.
