Paris Louvre brings back bronze statue to Yemen after restoration

SANA'A, (Saba) - Louvre Museum in the French capital Paris has brought back a bronze statue of one of the kings of Sheba Kingdom after finishing restoration measures by the Museum.
The length of the bronze statue of king Huter Athet, is 160 centimeters, dating to the 6th century BC.General Authority for Antiquities and Museums has sent the statue to the Louvre in last December for repairing for five months.
Meanwhile, Culture Minister Mohammed al-Muflahi talked in a meeting held on Friday in Paris with director of the Louvre Museum Henri Loyrette on fields of cooperation between the museum and the ministry and the possibility of repairing other Yemeni acquisitions in the museum, which receives annually about eight million visitors.
