SANA'A,  (Saba)- Authorized committees for solving retires problems received till Saturday claims from more than 47 thousand military, security and civil retires across the country.

A report issued by Local Administration Ministry's operation room showed that Abyan governorate came first in terms of the number of claims that reached 8086 followed by Lahj 7260 and Aden 5857.

Earlier, President Ali Abdullah Saleh directed the cabinet to form committees to solve the problems of these pensioners. Based on the President's directions, the cabinet issued decision No 229 for 2007 to implement these directions.

The decision stipulates the reinstatement of all illegally military retirement cases to service to make use of their specializations and qualifications. The reinstatement would be carried out through committees formed in every governorate headed by the concerned governors.

The formed committees started their works this July 24.

It is worth to mention that the pensioners received their July salaries with the increase approved by the government to improve their living standards.
