Committees to coordinates tasks of COCA and NACB formed

SANA'A, (Saba)- Two technical committees was formed on Saturday in Central Organization of Control and Auditing and National Anti-Corruption Board to coordinate efforts between them.
In a meeting brought together members of the two boards, a joint working plan between them was discussed.
They formed the committees to coordinate efforts of combating corruption and protecting public funds.
They also discussed means of avoiding overlap in their tasks and protect their independence.
The COCA chairman Abdullah al-Sanafi affirmed concern of the organization to offer all kinds of support for the board to combat corruption and insure its success in its tasks.
He said that the combating corruption is not only responsibility of a specific body, but it is responsibility of all official bodies.
He added that the organization concerned to form the committees with the board to know its needs in different administrative and technical departments and draw a clear vision to supply the board with those needs within available capabilities.
For his part, the NACB chairman Ahmed al-Anisi appreciated cooperation of the COCA and its concern to present administrative and technical assistances to the board. He considered the organization as the right hand of the board and key tool of combating corruption.
