SANA'A,  (Saba)- Law No. 13 for 2007 was issued on Tuesday
over organizing government stores and tenders.

According to the law, the objective of the law is to protect public
funds and state properties as well as reflect transparency and
honesty in dealing with tenders.

The law states to set up an independent board under the name of
supreme authorityfor monitoring tenders run by a council including
chairman and six members appointed by President Ali Abdullah Saleh
based on a list of 14 persons who are nominated by the Shura
Council.

The law determines the board's task which focuses on monitoring
process of dealing with tenders correctly and study complains.
