Yemen, Qatar hold talks over health cooperation in Sana'a

SANA'A, (saba)- Yemen and Qatar held on Saturday a discussions session over mutual health cooperation.
The talks were co-chaired by Minister of Public health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase and chairwoman of Qatar's National Health Authority Ghalia Banit Mohammed al-Thani.
During the talks, Rase welcomed the Qatari official, highlighting level of the relations between Yemen and Qatar in various different fields, especially in health sector.
He pointed out to the health assistance offered by the Qatari side such as funding construction of al-Saleh Hospital in Sana'a at total cost of $200 million.
Rase expressed hope that the visit of the Qatari official would come out with results that extend health cooperation between the two countries and benefit from the Qatari experience in field of health insurance and refurbishing and reunifying Khalifa Hospital in Yemen to administered by the Qatari side.
The Qatari official expressed readiness of Qatar to carry out training programs for the Yemeni health affiliates, saying that the Qatarwould start works in al-Saleh hospital after finalizing its designs.
