DHAMAR, July 26 (Saba)- Prime Minister Ali Mujawar announced on
Thursday support of the government for cultural festivals that promote tourism in the country.

During his speech in the opening ceremony of Asa'ad al-Kamal Cultural Festival in Dhamar governorate,Mujawar said that such festival would receive full support of the
government as it aims at promoting Yemeni tourist products.

He highlighted popular initiatives to organize the festival which would enhance tourist position of the governorate and reflect its cultural and historical heritage.

Mujawar affirmed the importance of strengthening infrastructure of tourism and encouraging handcrafts, insisting on the significant role of the Local Council in this regard. He said that the governorate of Dhamar enjoys security as which is a key element of tourism industry

The festival is organized by Dhamar University and in cooperation with Local Council of the governorate.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister inspected the project of Mabar gas electricity plant in Dhamar which would contribute to reducing power shortage in the country.
