CAIRO, July 26 (Saba)- Yemen and Arab League have talked on the
ongoing preparations to hold the economic development conference
to be held in Cairo soon.

Industry and Trade Minister Yahya al-Mutawakel talked with Arab
League Secretary-General Amr Mussa in a meeting in the Egyptian
capital Cairo on aspects of mutual cooperation between Yemen and
the Arab League and means of developing them.

Al-Mutawakel briefed Mussa on steps Yemen has taken to implement
economic reform programs.

Meanwhile, Al-Mutawakel held talks with Egypt's chairman of the
General Authority for Implementing Industrial Projects Amr Tala'at
on mutual relations between the two countries in field of free
and industrial zones.

The two officials agreed on increasing the cooperation and
coordination in this field, particularly that Egypt has more than 76
free zones.

Tala'at expressed his country's keenness to offer help to Yemen to
set up industrial zones benefiting from the Egyptian experience.
