SANA'A, July 25 (Saba)- Minister of Justice Ghazi al-Aghbari called
on the Yemeni Lawyers Bar to clean profession from corrupted lawyers who damage
reputation of the career.
In the opening session of the fifth conference of the Yemeni Lawyers Bar
being held in Sana'a, al-Aghbari affirmed the importance of reforming
judiciary, saying that the judicial power could close any court if
there are not honest judges and fire those who are dishonest.
He made it clear that reforms in judicial sector require similar
reforms for the profession of lawyers as they are the key partner for
judges to fulfill justice and strengthen law power.
The minister called on the bar to hold training courses to improve
capabilities of lawyers, especially teaching them English language.
He warned the bar from risks of changing works of the bar into
partisan activities, wishing success for the conference and positive
recommendations that could improve work.
