SANA'A, July 25 (Saba)- Minster of Agriculture and Irrigation
Mansour al-Hawshabi discussed on Wednesday with a delegation of
the World Bank (WB) measures and steps of carrying out al-Dalei
development project which the bank supplies.

During the meeting, the minister confirmed the importance of making use
of the projects supplied by the WB for supporting development in
Yemen, especially in the field of Agriculture, indicating that more
than 75% of villagers depend on agriculture as a main source of
income.

He praised the WB's support to Yemen's development efforts in
poverty alleviation, pointing out the importance of improving
agricultural process and increasing production.
