SANA'A, July 23 (Saba)- Foreign delegations from Japan, Netherlands
and France have participated in the cultural activities of Sana'a
Summer Festival 2007.
Undersecretary of Culture Ministry Najeeba Hadad made clear that the
participation of the foreign delegations in the festival activities
reflected European and Asian attention to tourism and civilization
in Yemen.
Najeeba pointed out that the festival was also attended by
international organizations concerned about child and women issues
in order to bring such issues to the attention of the participants
in the festival.
The activities of the Second Sana'a Summer Festival 2007 lasted
eight days in Al-Sabeen Park.
The Sana'a Summer Festival comes is one of other festivals to be
held during this summer in other provinces including the Asa'ad
Alkamel Tourism Festival to be staged in Dhamar for the first time
and Tourism Festival to be inaugurated on August 15th in Ibb city.
