SANA'A, July 21 (Saba)- Minister of Finance Noman Al-Suhaibi held on Saturday talks with the Japanese ambassador to Sana'a Masakazu Toshikage over potentialities of regaining the Japanese soft finance for development projects in Yemen, in addition to heightening future cooperation aspects between both countries in economy and finance.
During the meeting, the minister praised the historical relations which both countries enjoy, pointing out that Japan is one of the donor countries that support programs of financial, economic and administrative reforms, alleviating poverty and improving infrastructure.
As far as reducing Japanese debts on Yemen is concerned, he lauded this friendly move, confirming that the Yemeni government is extensively working on the economic and financial reforms so as to step up the national economy.
For his part , the Japanese ambassador praised the distinctive relations between both countries, affirming readiness to support Yemen Reforms Program.
