SANA'A, July 20 (Saba)- Delegates from the Shoura Council and
Parliament headed Friday to Syria to participate in the 11th
Arab-Afro Parliamentary Conference due to be held in
Damascus on July 22-24.

In a statement to Saba, deputy speaker of the Parliament Yahya
al-Raei, head of the delegation, said Yemen would offer its view
towards means of boosting relations between the Arab-African
parliaments and other issues to be discussed at the conference
including the events in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon and Darfur of Sudan.

The round will also discuss economic topics of common interest and
those issues related to Arab and African peoples and their security
and stability.
