SANAA, July 11 (Saba) – A cargo plane of United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) arrived on Thursday at Sanaa International Airport, carrying vaccines for "Rotavirus" and cholera.
"The vaccines provided by UNICEF include 837,000 vials of Rota vaccine for routine immunization of children under a year," said Taha al-Aqari, director of vaccines department at the ministry of public health and population.
Cholera vaccine shipment contained 1,221,300 vials allocated for the second round of anti-cholera campaign in several districts of the capital Sanaa, which would be implemented by the Health Ministry during the coming period, al-Aqari added.
