SANAA, July 3 (Saba) – The Parliament in its meeting on Tuesday under chairmanship of the Parliament Speaker Yahya al-Ra'i continued to discuss the amendment of income tax law.
In this regard, the Parliament listened to two letters of President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on the re-enactment of the draft law for the year 2019 on the amendment of the Income Tax Law No. 17 for the year 2010 and the draft law for the year 2019 on the amendment of the Sales Law No. 19 for the year 2001.
After discussion, both letters were referred to the competent committee for consideration and report to the parliament at a future meeting.
In the context of the general debate, the parliament members urged the Standing Committees to expedite the completion of reports and topics referred to them and to submit them to the parliament for discussion and decision on them.
