SANAA, April 21 (Saba) -The Agricultural and Irrigation Office in Sanaa province, in cooperation with the Animal Health and Veterinary Quarantine Department at the Agriculture Ministry, on Sunday launched a vaccination campaign against sheep smallpox and PPR in a number of districts of the province.
The 20-day campaign, carried out by 22 veterinary teams and funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), aims to vaccinate 308,000 heads of goats and sheep in the districts of Sa'fan, Manakha, al-Hayma al-Dakhilya, al-Hayma al-Kharijiya, Bani Matar, Hamdan and Khawlan.
