SANAA, April 20 (Saba) - Mayor of the capital Sanaa Hamoud Obad on Saturday met with Head of the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) in Yemen Wael Al-Ashhab.
In the meeting, they discussed aspects related to the implementation of the Urban Status Analysis Project and the preparation of reconstruction plan project with support and funding from the European Union.
The meeting dealt with the joint coordination between the two sides to improve the reconstruction plan of Sana'a City.
Mayor of the capital confirmed that the UN program would receive all necessary facilitates in order to implement its activities and projects in the capital.
In the meeting, Obad reviewed the difficulties and challenges facing the capital in meeting the needs of citizens and internally displaced people and providing them with public services.
