SANAA, April 16 (Saba) -President Mahdi al-Mashat, on Tuesday met with Minister of Public Works and Roads Ghaleb Mutlaq.
During the meeting, the workflow in the Ministry and its affiliated institutions and means of upgrading the role of the works sector in light of the US-Saudi aggression coalition.
The meeting reviewed the work carried out by the Ministry of Works in the construction and repair of roads and bridges and maintenance of roads, including those affected by the raids of the US-Saudi coalition.
In the meeting, the President directed the Ministry of Works to redouble efforts and utilize available resources to benefit citizens and facilitate their movement.
He noted at the same time the achievements of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads and its institutions, adding that the citizens in the capital Sanaa, other provinces, as well as the occupied territories felt those real made efforts.
For his part, the Minister of Public Works and Roads said that the ministry is exerting maximum efforts despite the lack of resources in implementing many projects for the construction of roads and repairing roads and bridges, in accordance with the directives of President.
He also stressed that the ministry has carried out a number of measures and concrete steps to combat corruption and drying it to serve the homeland and citizens.
