[14/ April/2019]
SANAA, April 14 (Saba) - Dozens of Palestinian students Sunday were suffocated by inhaling tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces at the Auref Secondary School, south of Nablus.

The head of the village council, Mazen Shehadeh, said that the Israeli occupation forces attacked the school with tear gas canisters, which caused dozens of students to suffocate, where they were given first aid on ground, while a student was transferred to the health center in the village for treatment.

Shehadeh said that the occupation soldiers are still stationed in the area near the school, pointing out that the attack led to the irregularity of the study process.

The school has witnessed repeated attacks by the settlers and the Israeli occupation army. The school administration evacuated the students eight times during the first semester and six times since the beginning of the second semester.

The village was attacked by settlers from the settlement of Yizhar, located on the lands of villages south of Nablus, causing injuries to a citizen and fracturing two vehicles.

In Gaza, a 23-year-old Palestinian fisherman was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces following the chase of his boat in the Swdania sea about three miles away.
He was hit by rubber-coated metal bullets in the neck and back,

He was taken to Shifa hospital, west of Gaza City, for treatment.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation forces daily target fishermen in the Gaza Sea and prevent them from practicing fishing by shooting, arresting and confiscating their boats.
