ANAA, March 22 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Friday sent a cable of condolences to the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Mohammed al-Hakim, in the sinking of the ferry in the Tigris River in Mosul, which killed dozens of women and children.
The Foreign Minister expressed the condolences of the Yemeni government and people to the Iraqi government, the Iraqi people and the families of the victims, and wished the wounded speedy recovery.
The minister stressed the Yemeni Republic's standing stance with the Republic of Iraq in this ordeal.
