SANAA, Feb. 19 (Saba) - President, Mahdi al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met on Monday Deputy Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee of the Shura Council, Maj. Gen. Ahmed al-Ashwal.
In the meeting, President al-Mashat stressed the importance of the role of military leaders who have long experience in the military service, especially in light of the escalation of US-backed saudi-led aggression coalition on various fronts.
He pointed to the keenness to benefit from the specialized committees in the Shura Council and the recommendations made in various aspects.
