SANAA, Feb. 13 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met on Wednesday with the Swedish Special Representative for the International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
At the meeting, the officials discussed a number of issues related to the humanitarian situation to alleviate the suffering the Yemeni people by the SIDA, in addition to supporting the efforts of the government and enhancing their role.
Sharaf praised an active role played by Kingdom of Sweden in supporting the Yemeni people towards achieving peace in Yemen and alleviating the human suffering caused by the Saudi-led coalition war and its siege.
"The aggression coalition has been waging the military and economical war on the Yemeni people, exacerbating the humanitarian situation, systematically destroying infrastructure," the minister said.
Meanwhile, the SIDA's official said that Kingdom of Sweden would continue in support the Yemeni people to alleviate the human suffering and achieve peace.
