SANAA, Jan. 15 (Saba) - At least 17 people were killed and others injured when a passenger bus overturned in the town of Shambu in the Ethiopian state of Oromia.
Media sources said the accident occurred after a bus carrying about 45 passengers overturned before hitting a number of buildings in the town of Shambu ou and causing many damage, pointing out that preliminary investigations attributed the cause of the accident to mechanical failure due to the decay of the vehicle and overload.
It is noteworthy that traffic accidents in Ethiopia caused during the past year in the deaths of about 5188 people and injuring 7554 others.
