Netanyahu boasts of settlements, deceives international community : Palestinian Foreign Minister
[12/ December/2018]
SANAA, Dec. 12 (Saba) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is proud of settlement deceiving in the same time the international community and declaring his rejection of peace.

"There is nothing more proof of this than Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's frank recognition of the deliberate obstruction of the peace process by the successive governments in his country," the ministry said in a statement.

The statement added: "This talks of Netanyahu was heard during his meeting with the party bloc of the Likud, in which he described his permanent disabling of peace as a" pride "at the same time his success in overcoming the period of former US President Barack Obama.

He pointed out that his next goal (grab an international legitimacy of the presence and the settlement construction) in the occupied West Bank, and continue to maneuver and launching campaigns to mislead the international community and world opinion on the subject of solution for the issue of settlements and this is officially taking place in the office of Prime Minister Netanyahu through special crews set up for this purpose.

"What Netanyahu has revealed is reflected on the ground and on a daily basis through the expansion, deepening of the settlements, the seizure of more Palestinian land in general and what happens from Judaization in occupied East Jerusalem, its surroundings and the areas of the Jordan Valley and areas classified (c) in particular.

"This is accompanied by ethnic cleansing and massive forced displacement of any Palestinian presence in designated areas (c)."

The ministry confirmed that the recognition Netanyahu made to his right-wing and settler public translates 10 years of continuous work in deepening and fattening those settlements towards the declared colonial goal of bringing the number of settlers in the West Bank settlements to one million.

This also means the 10 years that the ruling right in Israel, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, has been trying to mislead the international community by manipulating words and hiding behind fabricated smoke screens ranging from "counter-terrorism" to "external enemy".

The ministry stressed that Netanyahu's public and frank recognition of this colonial policy is a slap to the international community and a disregard for the minds of international leaders, which requires them to stop at this public recognition, to respect their responsibilities and commitments and to defend their remaining credibility not only towards the Palestinian people and their rights and suffer but towards themselves and their peoples.
