SANAA, Dec. 12 (Saba) - The High Court of the British Columbia District of Canada has ordered the release of Meng Wanzhou, chief financial officer of Chinese tech giant Huawei, who was detained by the authorities last week on charges of violating the company's sanctions against Iran, on bail of 10 million Canadian dollars, of which 7.5 million Canadian dollars in cash.
The Canadian court set 16 conditions for the release of Wanzhou, aged 46, including wearing an electronic tracking device and staying at her home in Vancouver, Canada between 11 pm and 6 am, unless she obtained written permission from the bailiff, court or for medical reasons.
