After failing to persuade Europe to renegotiate, May may face vote of no confidence
[12/ December/2018]
SANAA, Dec. 12 (Saba) - Prime Minister Theresa May may face a no-confidence vote after a parliamentary vote on her country's exit from the European Union has been postponed, supporters of Britain's exit from the conservative bloc said.

A no-confidence vote will be cast for May if at least 48 of the 315 conservative members of the House of Commons apply.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) quoted "several sources" that it is believed that 48 messages have already been sent.

In the case of such messages, May will need support from at least 158 of the 315 conservative members of parliament to remain in office.

May was forced to postpone a crucial vote in the British parliament on the exit agreement from the European Union to try to get more "guarantees" from the bloc.

May did not find a response from Brussels during its new round yesterday to renegotiate the Brexit agreement.
