SANAA, Nov. 19 (Saba) – The ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation and FAO on Sunday organized a ceremony in the capital Sana to mark the World Food Day under the slogan " Our acts make our future".
During the ceremony the minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Abdul Malik al-Thawr affirmed that the agriculture in Yemen is a life style referring to its importance in guarding the environment and creating many employees' opportunities indicating that sector affirmed its capacity to steadfast in face of crises whatever are the conditions.
This sector was suffered from damages due to the US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition, mostly farmers who lose their farms and their income was affected, however all the agricultural activities keep to continue in various provinces, the minister added.
