CARE's supporting's possibility  for technical education sector in Yemen discussed

SANAA, Nov. 18 (Saba) - Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Ghazi Mohsen on Sunday discussed with the programs director of CARE International in Yemen the possibility of supporting the Yemen in the field of technical and vocational education sector.

In the meeting, Minister Ghazi reviewed the difficulties that hinder the development of In the meeting, Minister Ghazi reviewed the difficulties that hinder the development of technical education, especially at the present time and the difficult conditions that the country is going through in light of the continuation of the US-backed Saudi-led aggression colaition and its all-out siege imposed on the country.


 He stressed the Ministry's keenness to activate cooperation with donor organizations to benefit from the support that can be provided to the development of technical and vocational education to ensure the continuation of the educational process and to exploit the talents of young people.


The minister expressed the hope that the ministry will benefit from the support of CARE and the donor organizations on the rehabilitation of institutes in various provinces and the provision of training tools, housing, nutrition and monthly incentives for teachers, especially after most of these institutes were directly destroyed by the coalition aggression.

He stressed the readiness of the ministry to directe its cadres and training institutes to carry out specialized training courses and rehabilitation of young people in various fields.

The program director in CARE expressed the readiness of her organization to provide support to the technical education sector, especially with regard to youth support.


She also stressed the organization's commitment to address the EU on technical and vocational education support in Yemen, which requires a database on the needs of this sector to meet and provide them.
