Russian Foreign Ministry urges EU to inventory bilateral relations

SANAA, Nov. 15 (Saba) - The Russia is proposing to the EU a comprehensive inventory of bilateral relations, a Russian official said today.



"We hear increasingly valid voices in the European Union calling for the normalization of relations between the EU and our country on the basis of equal rights and mutual respect for interests," Russia, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said during a speech at press conference held during an international conference held in Moscow.



"We proposed to the European Union a comprehensive inventory of our relations and to identify what is necessary of the multifaceted structure of our cooperation, which existed before the Ukrainian crisis," he said.



The Russian official pointed out that Moscow was based on the vision that the two parties should begin to normalize relations between them, and start to restore the arena of work of forms that were non-politicized and aimed at solving the concrete problems at the outset.



"Above all, we are interested in dialogues on concrete topics and meetings between the Government of Russia and the European Commission, which were very important from the point of view of the convergence of measures to solve the concrete issues facing our economies, our businesses and our citizens in various fields," Grushko added.
