SANAA, Nov.14 (Saba) - An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck northern parts of Pakistan Tuesday morning without immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 90 km in the Hindu Kush mountain range in the far north of Pakistan and Afghanistan, the media quoted the Pakistan Meteorological and Geological Survey as saying.
There were no reports of casualties or damage from the quake, but residents of the areas hit were forced to leave their homes in anticipation of a devastating aftershock.
