MUSCAT, Sept. 13 (Saba) - Head of the national delegation to Geneva consultations, Mohammed Abdulsalam, met on Thursday with the UN special envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, in the Omani capital Muscat.
During the meeting, they discussed the political situation in Yemen, the framework of the comprehensive solution in Yemen, as well as the humanitarian and economic crisis caused by the unjust siege imposed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition on the country.
The reasons for non-participation of the national delegation in the Geneva consultations last week were also discussed in the meeting.
The two sides touched on several issues, including reopening of Sanaa International Airport, war prisoners, and the dialogue resumption.
It was agreed that the United Nations would submit proposals on the above issues to be discussed with the delegation and the national authorities in Sanaa.
