SANAA, Aug.14 (Saba) – The army and popular committees inflicted Saudi-led invaders and mercenaries huge losses in lives and equipment in rocket and artillery shelling on their sites and several attacks, killing and injuring dozens and destroying their military vehicles, a military official told Saba on Tuesday.
The missile force of the army and committees launched a short range ballistic missile on the Saudi-paid mercenaries troops in the western coast, while a vehicle carrying mercenaries was destroyed in al-Jabaliah in al-Tahita, killing its crew's members, said the official.
In the north of Medi desert, many of Sudanese mercenaries were killed and injured in destroying military pick-up.
In Jizan province, artillery shelling targeted Saud soldiers gatherings in Arar site, causing direct casualties, a military vehicle was destroyed in al-Dhabirah village east of Jahfan in artillery targeting, while a military kit carrying mercenaries were destroyed in an explosion east of al-Dod mountain, killing all its crew members.
Also in Jizan, a Saudi soldier was shot dead in Mashal mount, a military vehicle was destroyed, a military equipment was seized near Dukhan mount, killing and injuring dozens in an attack of the army secured many sites and shot dead five mercenaries near al-Dod mount.
In Najran, the army and committees stormed two sites near al-Sudais, burning three military vehicles and killing number of mercenaries including leaders during the attack, while the army repelled the mercenaries infiltration attempt on al-Shabaka site, killing and injuring dozens.
Also in Najran, thirteen mercenaries were killed in a unique ambush carried by the engineering unit in al-Sudais site, while two vehicles were destroyed and a shelling targeted the mercenaries troops in al-Shorfah and in the west, near of al-Sudais, artillery and missile shelling on the troops near al-Khadhra crossing.
In Asir, the army repelled the mercenaries infiltration attempt near Aleb crossing border coincided with intensive overflights, Apaches and reconnaissance, killing and injuring dozens, while a Saudi soldier was shot dead in Qashbah Rakaba in al-Rabouah.
Also in Asir, an artillery shelling targeted the mercenaries' troops in Mustahdath site in al-Rabouah, while the artillery and missile unit hit another troops near Aleb border crossing, causing direct casualties.
