SANAA, June 16 (Saba) - The Ministry of Public Health and Population condemned the aggression targeting of operations room of the health office located on the General Thawra Hospital in Hodeidah with direct shelling, which caused severe damage, the ministry said in a statement received by the Saba news agency.
The ministry said the targeting of the operating room inside the hospital, a war crime which disregard all international conventions and laws that prohibit and criminalize the targeting of health facilities and ambulance units.
The Ministry reviewed the targeting of the health center operations center is part of systematic targeting series of health facilities and infrastructure, which targeted more than 400 health facilities including vital hospitals, facilities run by international organizations, oxygen factories and more than 62 ambulances.
The Ministry of Health warned that the escalation of the aggression forces in the West Coast will lead to a terrible humanitarian catastrophe that is difficult to confront, holding the international community responsibility for what will happen as a stain on humanity.
