SANAA, June 12 (Saba)- Minister of Public Health and Population, Taha Al-Mutawakil on Tuesday met with João Martins, the head of Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Mission in Yemen.
In the meeting, the officials discussed the aspects of cooperation between the ministry and MSF in the humanitarian field to alleviate the Suffering of patients due to the unjust blockade imposed by the Saudi-led coalition countries.
Al-Mutawakel affirmed the ministry’s readiness to facilitate all the difficulties for the organization to carry out its humanitarian and health tasks in Yemen.
He also condemned the Saudi-led coalition targeting on cholera treatment center in Abs district, which runs by the MSF organization.
The minister expressed his hope that the MSF will continue to provide health and humanitarian services to those in need in the province despite difficulties that it’s staff faced.
