SANAA, May 15 (Saba) - Minister of Education Yahya Badr al-Din al-Houthi met in the capital Sanaa on Tuesday with Regional Director of the UN World Food Program (WFP), Muhannad Hadi.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation relations, including joint programs in the field of humanitarian relief.
In the meeting, al-Houthi confirmed his ministry's keenness to overcome any obstacles that may face the implementation of the program plan, praising the program's contribution to alleviating burdens of the poor families.
The WFP's official said that the program would continue its activities in coordination with the local partners and Yemeni government.
He hailed the role of the school feeding and humanitarian relief project as an official partner of the WFP in Yemen.
