SANAA, Feb. 11 (Saba) - Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Aziz al-Kumaim on Sunday met with head of Doctors Without Borders' mission in Yemen, Joao Martins.
In the meeting, the officials reviewed the efforts exerted by the mission to provide various medical services to the needy and the humanitarian role it plays to alleviate the humanitarian and health repercussions in Yemen.
The minister emphasized the government's keenness to provide all available support to strengthen the efforts and contributions of MSF.
Kumaim commended MSF for its relief activities in Yemen.
Meanwhile, Martins reaffirmed that his organization will keep providing medical services to those in need and supporting the Yemeni government efforts to alleviate the humanitarian suffering in the country that caused by the ongoing Saudi-led aggression war and all-out blockade.
