DHAMAR, Jan 16 (Saba) – Governor of Dhamar province, Mohammed Al-maqdashi on Monday inaugurated a voluntary recruitment campaign to reinforce army and popular committees in the battlefronts, a Saba reporter said.

In the inauguration, which was interrupted by a protest condemning US-backed Saudi aggression crimes, the governor stressed on the importance of success of the campaign to strengthen steadfastness in the face of Saudi aggression and maintain the victories achieved on various fronts.

"The aggression destroyed all the capabilities and infrastructure of the homeland and seeks to tear down the social fabric, but the solidarity of the people of this country is the guarantor to thwart all these schemes." Maqdashi said.

He called on the sons of Otemah district to go to the registration centers to join the armed forces and be at the forefront of the ranks in defense of the homeland and its sovereignty and independence.

The campaign aimed to support the heroes of the Yemeni armed forces in the fighting against enemy US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition.

The participants denounced the continuation of suspicious international silence towards the genocide crimes committed by the aggression coalition in Yemen for more than a 1000 days.
