ANA'A, May 17 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council on Wednesday received Yahya al-Ra'i Speaker of Parliament, and Abdul-Salam Hashul Deputy Speaker of the Parliament for organizational and technical affairs.
They discussed developments in the local and regional arena and the efforts exerted by the Parliament, the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government to reach the desired victory and peace that preserves the dignity, sacrifices and victory of the Yemeni people.
The meeting reviewed measures taken to curb the spreading of cholera epidemic and the mechanism of integrating awareness roles among the different institutions in the country.
The meeting also reviewed the economic challenges that resulted from the aggression and the unjust siege on Yemeni people as a whole and measures were taken to limit their effects and consequences, foremost of which is the problem of salaries of state employees.
The meeting also reviewed the agenda of political action during the next stage.
