SANA'A, Jan. 17 (Saba) – The President of the Supreme Political Council (SPC) met on Tuesday with a number of sheikhs, dignitaries of Ans directorate.
The President hailed the positions of the sheikhs and dignitaries of Ans directorate and all the sons of Dhamar province related to their efforts to maintain peace and security and social unity of the internal front and the sacrifices they make in the fronts to defend the nation and their pride and dignity.
They discussed the situation of Ans directorate and the national role played by them to face the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.
The meeting dealt with the issues that have been working by sheikhs and dignitaries of the directorate in coordination with the leadership of Dhamar province, the local authority in order to establish security.
Sheikhs and dignitaries of Ans confirmed that all honorable Yemenis are free and at one hand in one front to face the Saudi-aggression, arguing that Yemen's social and geographical unity is immune to invaders and occupiers.
The deputy of the SPC Dr. Qasim Labuza , members of SPC Sultan al-Samee and Nasser al-Nasiri, Parliament Speaker Sheikh Yahya al-Rai', Deputy Speaker of Parliament Abdul-Salam Hashol, and the Governor Dhamar Hamoud Obad also attended at the meeting.
